Precautions Before Applying UV DTF Cup Wraps

Before applying UV DTF Cup Wraps, please keep the following points in mind to ensure the best results:

• Avoid using sublimation cups (especially frosted ones) : Such cup surfaces are not UV DTF transfer film compatible as the sticker will fail to adhere.

• Avoid using alcohol : Alcohol may destroy the adhesive of A film, which will not stick properly on the surface of the cup.

•  The application  of UV DTF cup wraps is irreversible : Once you begin applying UV DTF cup wraps and the adhesive comes into contact with the glass, the transfer film cannot be removed or moved. Therefore, be extremely careful at every step.

• Clean the cup with soapy water and ensure it is completely dry.

• Make sure the surface of the cup, removes dust, grease, or other forms of contamination.

Before applying, trim away any extra UV DTF cup wraps so as not to overlap the transfer film to affect the appearance.

Peel off approximately one inch of the B film and cut it with scissors to expose the adhesive. 

Use the transfer film to expose the adhesive portion of the positioning, and the remaining transfer film wrapped around the cup.

• Once satisfied with the transfer film's position, gently press the exposed adhesive to secure it.

• Place the cup on a hard, flat surface and slowly peel off the backing paper while gently rolling the cup.

• After fully applying the transfer film to the cup's surface, spend 3-5 minutes pressing with your palm. The heat from your hand will activate the UV DTF adhesive, helping it to adhere better. This also makes it easier to peel off the backing paper and ensures the transfer film won’t lift.

• Carefully and slowly peel off the B transfer film, ensuring it doesn’t stretch or tear the A film.
• If any part of the design lifts during peeling, gently press that area down and continue peeling.

Once the film is applied, do not wash or use the cup for 24-48 hours to permit the adhesive to harden on the glass surface, keeping the transfer film in place firmly for a long-term finish.
