InkSonic Ultra XP600 A3/13" DTF-Drucker U13

This is a 4-star review because I want to be honest with anyone who has or is looking into purchasing the XP600 from InkSonic.

Alright so first things first, the printer was very well packaged. The instructions were very simple and easy to understand on assembly. We were up and running with about an hour as long as you follow each step just like the directions say. USE THE INSTRUCTIONS. 5 STARS in this area.

After starting up, I was having a connectivity problem with the printer but come to find out the only reason I was having problems was because there was a new piece that was put in to secure the printhead that was not included in the instructions. I took out the two screws and immediately things were working smoothly. Loading ink was a breeze. Took no time at all.

Went to make my first prints and that was when we started noticing our first problems. Our browns and blacks were not printing solid. They were very streaky, and it was obvious. It was not something I was not willing to send out on a design I was making. Contacted the tech team and they immediately got on the problem. They changed a few things around and also showed me how to set my margin to make sure my prints were on the paper and such. Tech Team gets 5 STARS all the way around for their assistance. It's a little aggravating to have to contact them at 8pm BUT it's something we can work around.

The reason I am taking away a star is due to the issues with the color and such we were consistently having to print prints over and over again with the tech team causing us to use a ton of product, which has cost us white ink, which we are now having to replace at our own cost and was not offered any replacements due to the loss of material caused by a problem with the product.

I am also taking away that star because of the program. There are too many steps you have to take to be able to get the printer to use the photo you are wanting to print. I went from using Digital Factory, where I was able to pull PNGs in directly and it would automatically set the white etc. to now having to edit all the designs in photoshop to include a new spot layer so the printer will print the white, then having to save a PNG file as a tiff file, and then once the tiff file is in the program you have to save it as a PRN in order to print correctly. It's just so many steps that I feel like could be simplified in so many ways by just having a software that would print PNG files AND add the white without having to pull every image into photoshop.

We have since worked out most of the kinks with the printer and have been able to get very good quality beautiful prints but due to the software complications, the loss of product without offering a replacement due to problems with their products, and now "you cannot buy just white ink, you have to buy the entire bundle" I am giving 3 stars. If they fix the white ink issue I will bump the review up to 4 stars.

I am not by any means telling you guys to not buy this product! It is fantastic but understand it is not as simple as just pulling a PNG file in and printing when upgrading to this!

This printer is so fast! It took less than 5 minutes to print a good size picture. I had trouble trying to print so I reached out to their customer service. Very helpful and patient. Over all 5 stars!

I love this printer, I have been through 2 other DTF printer and by far this is the best. Customer service is on point. They will remotely connect to your computer and show you everything you need to know if you need them to. I love it!
